Ma’tam of Al-Imam Al-Askari (AS) commemoration in Saudi Arabia

AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of
father of the last Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Hojjah (may Allah hasten his
reappearance), Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Askari (peace be on him), and the
end of Ayaam Al-Aza Al-Husseini, majalis wa mawakeb al-azaiyah
(mourning sittings and processions) will be held across the eastern
region of Saudi Arabia on 8 Rabee Al-Oola.
Maktabah Sayed Al-Khoei will hold a majlis at Al-Mortadha
husseiniyah in Al-Matirfi. Sheikh Ahmed Al-Bakhitan will address while
dinner will be served from the table of eleventh imam Al-Askari (peace
be on him).
A procession, organized by Mokab Sayed-osh-Shohadaa, will be taken out
from near the Ar-Rasul Al-Adham mosque in Al-Awamiyah on Tuesday at
1030pm. Renowned Husseini elegist Ja’afar Al-Yousaf will participate.
On Wednesday 8 Rabee Al-Oola, Mokab Sayed-osh-Shohadaa will
commemorate the occasion by holding a mourning program at Al-Imam
Al-Hussein mosque in Al-Awamiyah at 0900pm. Famous Husseini elegist
Sheikh Hussein Al-Akraaf will recite elegies.
