PARIS, France: Auspicious occasions of Eid Az-Zahraa (AS) and coronation of the last imam from the holy progeny of holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), Al-Imam Al-Mehdi Al-Hojjah (AS), were celebrated across the globe on Rabi Al-Awwal 9.

Holy shrines of Ahlul Beit (AS), mosques, husseiniyaat and imambaras were beautifully decorated with multihued lights, shiny buntings and ribbons, and fragrant flowers to mark the occasion.

Millions of mo’minin throughout the world participated in the celebratory gatherings and presented their greetings to the holy Prophet (AS) and his Ahlul Beit (AS).

This was the day, when pained Ahl-e-Bayt-e-Rasool (holy Progeny of holy Prophet (SWW)) ended their mourning following the gruesome tragedy of Karbala and for the first time after the massacre of his father Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions, the 4th Imam (AS) Ali bin Al-Hussain Zayn-ul Abideen (AS) smiled.

On this propitious day the crown of Imamat was passed to Imam of our era, the last 12th Imam Al-Mehdi (AS).
