Arba’een being observed in Essen

ESSEN, Germany: Marking Arba’een Al-Hossaini (a.s.), five-day
(Wednesday – Sunday, March 7 – 11) majalis al-azaiyah organized by Mokab
Shiato Ali are being held in Essen city of Germany.
Sheikh Abo-Mortadha Al-Khazayi addresses majalis for the first four
nights while fifth majlis will be addressed by Sheikh Abo-Muhammad Al-Hindawi.
Renowned Husseini elegists Alhaj Bassem Ad-Dorraji Al-Karbalayi
(London), Alhaj Ayad Al-Kadhimi and Nurruddin Al-Kadhimi (Holland)
recite elegies.
Meanwhile, prior to main majlis, a brief majlis in Persian and Turkish
is also held for Iranian, Afghan and Turk brethren. Sheikh Al-Mojahidi
addresses.
Dinner is served from the table of Al-Imam Al-Hossain (a.s.).
On Arba’een, a mourning procession will be taken out at 3:00 pm.
