Leaders at Kuwait conference call for unity to thwart threats

KUWAIT CITY: Large number of Shia, Sunni leaders and clerics from
different countries attended the third Islamic Fraternity conference
in Kuwait.
Vice-president Kuwait Council Muhammad Al-Basiri while addressing the
gathering brought to light threats being faced by the Islamic world.
Message of Lebanese Hezbollah Sayed Hasan Nasrullah was also read
to the participants.
Among others who spoke the two-day conference were: Abdul-Mon’am
Abol-Fatah from Egyptian Muslim brotherhood, Adnan Abdus-Samad from
Kuwait Council, Director Kuwait Hoza Ilmiyah Sheikh Hussein Ma’atok,
Sheikh Youssaf Nasseri from Iraq ulema, and Saudi Shia leader Sheikh
Hasan As-Saffar.
