KUWAIT CITY: First Fatimiyah Days to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Mistress of Ladies the World Sayedah Fatimah Az-Zahraa (AS), daughter of chief of Prophets Prophet Muhammad (SW), spouse of Amir-ol Mominin Al-Imam Ali (AS) and mother of Hasnayn (AS) began in Kuwait like other countries.

According to a tradition it was 13th Jamadi Al-Oola when Fatimah Az-Zahraa (AS) was martyred while according to another tradition she kissed martyrdom on Jamai-oth Thani 3. Both dates are observed across the globe as First and second Fatimiyah Days.

Majalis are being held at husseiniyaat and mosques in Kuwait highlighting high status and sufferings of Fatimah Az-Zahraa (AS).

Husseini Speaker Sheikh Jassem Al-Karbalaie addressed at husseiniyah Aal-i-Bu-Hamd while Sheikh Hani Sha’aban at husseiniyah Al-Imam Al-Mortadha (AS) and Sheikh Abdelhameed Al-Mohajer at husseiniyah Ar-Rasul Al-Adham (SW) Al-Karbalaiya. They urged Islamic countries to add thought of Ahl-el Bayt (AS), their culture and fiqh in schools and universities to enlighten the new generation.
