Continuing excavations near Al Aqsa mosque flayed

By: Sultan Ahmed

RABAT, Morocco: Islamic Educational, scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has strongly slammed the ongoing excavations conducted by the Israeli occupation authorities in the precinct of the Al Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement, the Rabat-based ISESCO called upon the international community to take prompt action and pressurize the Israeli government into stopping the excavations, which expose the Al Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity to the danger of collapse.

ISESCO pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities carry on conducting new excavations in the south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, only 50 metres away from the southern wall of the mosque and only few meters away from the walls of the ancient village in Jerusalem.
