HOLY QOM, Iran: Head of Iraq’s Supreme Islamic Council
Sayyed Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim, son of late Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Mohsin
Al-Hakim, held separate meetings with Maraje and Ayaat of the holy
city of Qom and discussed with them political and security situation
in Iraq, government efforts for the country’s rebuilding as well as
its plans for reconstruction of the demolished holy shrine of Hazrete
Imamain Al-Askariyain in Samaara.

Among those Maraje with whom Al-Hakim met included Sayyed Muhammad
Taqi Al-Qommi, Sheikh Mohiyyuddin Al-Mamqani, Sheikh Bahjat, Sayyed
Abdul-karim Al-Mousawi Al-Ardbeli, Sheikh Wahid Al-Khurasani, Sayyed
Kazem Al-Hayeri, Sayyed Sadeq Ash-Shirazi, Sheikh Nasser Makarem Ash-Shirazi,
and Jafer Sobhani.

The Maraje commended Iraqi government efforts and appreciated grand
sacrifices rendered by the family of Al-Hakim against oppression and
tyranny.

Al-Hakim also visited the homes of late Ayaat i.e. Al-Barujurdi,
Sayyed Golpaygani, Fadhil Lankarani and recited surah Al-Fateha for
height of their ranks.
Earlier, Al-Hakim paid visit to the holy shrine of Karimeh Ahli Bayt
Hazrete Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.).
