Syria: Ayat As-Sadr (1943-1999) remembered

DAMASCUS, Syria: A commemorating ceremony to honour late
Ayatullah Sayyed Muhammad Sadeq As-Sadr (1943-1999) was held in
Sayyedah Zaynab, Damascus attended by political, religious and social
figures.
Saudi Arabia's renowned cleric Sheikh Hasan As-Saffar
made special participation in the ceremony which was organized at
Safir hotel.
Speakers threw light on different aspects of late
Ayatullah's life who was martyred along with his sons in 1999 at the
hands of Saddam regime.
