ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Syed Wajih-ul-Hassan Kazmi, Central President, Mukhtar Organisation Pakistan (MO) has appealed the United Nations to send a high level delegation to Saudi Arabia for the reconstruction and uplift of the holy graves in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla and investigate why these respectable and holy places were destructed. Moreover the Saudi delegate should be summoned by the United Nations to apprise it about the protest and concern the world over against the destruction of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla in addition to declaring Makkah and Madinah as international cities.

He made this appeal in a Memorandum delivered to the United Nations offices located in Islamabad. Earlier, a protest demonstration was held in front of the Islamabad Press Club Camp Office in which the participants raised slogans against the destruction of holy mazars (Shrines) in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla. They also called upon all international organisations including the United Nations to play their role in getting Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla reconstruction and renovated.

Addressing the rally Syed Wajih-ul-Hassan Kazmi told the gathering that in the Memorandum addressed to the United Nations Secretary General, he has said that it is crystal clear in the United Nations Charter that the combined heritage, signs, remnants of the world of humanity all over the world will not only be protected but those who raze down or cause harm to these signs will also be stopped doing so. Since the creation of the United Nations, the world of humanity has rested their all out hope in it that is why the United Nations is actively struggling for the achievement of rights for the oppressed and have-nots. Today, the Mukhtar Organisation Pakistan (MO) is inviting your attention towards an issue that is on the United Nations record as an important issue. This issue does not belong to any nation, country, discrimination, race or religion but that of whole humanity and voice of protest is being raised against it for the last 83 years throughout the world while in Pakistan the voice of protest is continuously raised against it since its inception.

In 1924, Aal-e-Saud had razed down most ancient graveyards of Jannatul Moalla (Makkah Mukarramah) and Jannatul Baqee (Madinah Munawwarah) where the holy Mashaheer of the world of humanity are buried. Like Anbia and Swaleheen were respectable during their life time, similarly their graves, mausoleums and signs are considered and then Jannatul Moalla and Jannatul Baqee, as is indicated through their names, are the graveyards of Mashaheer where highly renowned personalities of Khanwada-e-Nabuwwat and Risalat, Ummahat-ul-Momineen, Sahaba Kibar, Taba-Tabaeen - Hazrat Abdul Mutalib, Hazrat Abu Talib, Hazrat Fatima Binte Asad, Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra, Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zahra, Hazrat Fatima Sughra Binte Imam Hussain, Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba, Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen, Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqar, Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq, Hazrat Ibrahim Ibne Rasool Allah, Hazrat Jafar Tayyar, Hazrat Ummul Baneen, Hazrat Abbas uncle of Rasool Allah, Hazrat Ummul Baneen mother of Ghazi Abbas, Hazrat Hassan Musanna, Hazrat Ismail Bin Imam Jafar Sadiq, Hazrat Aqeel Bin Abi Talib, Hazrat Abdullah Bin Jafar Tayyar, Hazrat Muhammad Bin Hanifa, Ummul Momineen Hazrat Aisha, Hazrat Umme Salma, Hazrat Zainab, Hazrat Hafsa, Hazrat Rehana, Hazrat Maria, Hazrat Sodah, Hazrat Safia, Hazrat Javairia, Hazrat Atikah aunt of Rasool Allah, Hazrat Safia aunt of Rasool Allah, Hazrat Haleema Sa’adia, Hazrat Usman Bin Affan, Hazrat Usman Bin Mazoon, Hazrat Abdul Rehman Bin Auf, Hazrat Saad Bin Abi Waqas, Hazrat Saad Bin Zararah, Hazrat Saad Bin Ma’ad, Hazrat Abu Saeed Khadri, Hazrat Imam Malik, Hazrat Imam Nafeh, Shuhada-e-Uhad and hundreds of other renowned personalities are eternally resting.

And how much Ahle Bait (A.S.) were respectable in the eyes of Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW) that his daughter Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) has the honour of being the Sardar of Khawateen-e-Jannat therefore, Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW) declared that Fatima (S.A.) is the Sardar of Khawateen-e-Jannat (Sahih Bukhari). In other words she is the Sardar of women in the universe that include Hazrat Hawwa, Hazrat Hajira, Hazrat Sara, mother of Musa (A.S.), mother of Eisa (A.S.) and all women from Ummahat-ul-Momineen to women till the D-Day. She was declared as a part of his heart by Paighambar-e-Islam (SAAW) Fatima is my part, whosoever made her furious, he made me furious (Bukhari). When Rasool (SAAW) becomes furious if her daughter becomes furious then teasing her is like teasing the Rasool (SAAW) and teasing Rasool (SAAW) is like teasing Allah. In the whole universe, only Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) enjoys the singular honour that Paighambar-e-Islam used to stand up in her honour rather used to kiss her hands and keep her sit at his place. This is the respect for Fatima (A.S.) whose sons are Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.), Hazrat Ali Ibne Al-Hussain (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqar (A.S.), and Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) who was the teacher of many A’aimma including Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa, Hazrat Imam Shafaee, Hazrat Imam Malik, and Hazrat Imam Hambal. The holy graves of all these pious personalities remained intact in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla till 1924. But unfortunately, Ibne Al-Qayyam who was the pupil of Ibne Teemia gave fatwa for destructing these holiest places and by doing so not only opposed A’aimma Arba’a but also pained the whole world of humanity.

Later Aal-e-Saud gave practical touch to their plan to wipe out these holy places just to take complete control over Makkah, Madinah and the areas around, in 1344 Hijra. When these holy places were wiped out on 8th Shawal 1344 Hijrah (“Ashra Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad is being observed from 15-25 Shawal throughout the world on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to mark their Shahadat). Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) is that great personality who gave renowned scientists, scholars, ulema and fuqaha like King Jabir Bin Hayan, Hisham Bin Al-Hukm, Momin Taaq, Zararah, Abu Baseer, Muhammad Bin Muslim, Nauman Bin Sabit (Imam Abu Hanifa), Imam Malik Bin Ans, and others. The grave of this great personality and other pious leaders of the religion were not only razed down by Aal-e-Saud but they also put restriction on Ziarat of these holy places for those who used to visit these graves that is a naked oppression. Hazrat Adam (A.S.) to Hazrat Muhammad (SAAW) and till the Usmania Khalifate, great mausoleums were intact on these holy graves and the whole world used to offer Ziarat of the same because these holy personalities are respected by the whole humanity. But Aal-e-Saud destructed these graves rather wiped out their signs also and this practice, on their part, is still going on.

Voice of protest is being raised for the reconstruction and restoration of the dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for the last quarter a century, and this protest will continue till the holy graves are not reconstructed and their dignity is not restored. According to British newspaper ‘Independent’ the Aal-e-Saud’s plan to expand Makkah and Madinah is becoming the cause of making car parking on the place of Rasool’s (SAAW) birth, sprinkling of gasoline on the grave of Rasool’s (SAAW) mother after bulldozing it, construction of toilets on the Bait-Maqdas of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.). Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique’s home has been turned into local Hilton Hotel and Masjid Abu Qais has been made part of Saudi ruler’s palace. Every inch of Makkah and Madinah is respectable as only Holy Prophet (SAAW) has fought 104 defensive wars on these places which all were respectable but today only 20 historic places remained in Makkah Mukarramah that were intact for the last 1400 years since the era of the Rasool (SAAW). The satanic forces today are encouraged from this state of affairs and committed desecration of the holy places in Iraq rather they razed the Roza of Imameen Al-Askareen on which all Masalik and countries has lodged strong protest in which Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ)was top on the list.

Therefore, Unesco has included Samra City in the list of cultural heritage while the United Nations is starting the construction of Roza Askareen soon that has already been announced by the Unesco Director Muhammad Jaleel during a Press conference in Baghdad. Therefore, Muslims the world over are under the obligation to accelerate struggle for the reconstruction of Jannatul Baqee nd Jannatul Moalla.

Today different organisations are working in the name of protecting archaeological signs. Not only today but it had been a pre-Islam practice to keep the graves and all signs and memorials of Mashaheer, Anbia and Swaleheen intact while Jannatul Baqee was seen with very honourable and respectful eye. While the United Nations is ensuring the protection of archaeological signs all over the world then why it was not giving their attention towards Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla which are the combined heritage of the whole humanity.

This attitude of the United Nations points towards the double standards being followed by the United Nations as a result of which different violent ideologies e.g. “conflict of cultures” are being cropped up the whole responsibility of which lay on the United Nations and other international organisations. It is a recognised fact that Islam is against violence and extremism because it preaches patience, forbearance and kindness.
