Saudis mourn Al-Imam Ja’fer As-Sadeq (peace be on him)

SEHAT, Saudi Arabia: Martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam
Ja’fer As-Sadeq (peace be on him), the 6th infallible descendant of
Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him and his holy progeny) was
reverently observed on Shawal 25, Tuesday, Nov 6 in oil-rich Mo’minin-dominated
eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
Majalis al-aza and mourning processions were held at mosques,
husseiniyaat and ma’atam across the region attended by thousands.
Mourners extended condolence to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be on
him and his holy progeny) and his Ahl-ol Beyt (peace be on them)
marking the sorrowful occasion.
A big mourning procession organized by Maukeb Baqiyatollah was taken
out from husseiniyah Al-Khalifa in Sehat on Monday night. Renowned
Husseini dirge-chanter Hussein Al-Hammadi Al-Qatifi participated and
recited elegies.
