RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the Eid-ul-Fitr is the Shukrana of Zaat-e-Illahi at the end of the fasting month. This was stated by him in a special message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He said all nations and religions provide proof of their life by observing their respective festivals according to their ideologies, thoughts, feelings and beliefs. He made it clear that Islam is the religion that has blessed all departments of human life with a complete code of life, informed us about our respective obligations and also told us that respect to the rights is ensured by fulfilling these obligations. He said those who fulfil these obligations, achieve their goals.

Agha Moosavi said that according to Quran one who created the fear of presenting himself in Bargah-e-Illahi and stopped his Nafs from desires, no doubt, he will be placed in the heaven. A person who fasts, keeps himself away from all types of wrongful desires for the whole month, therefore, Eid-ul-Fitr is observed at the end of fasting month to pay Shukrana to Zaat-e-Illahi. The philosophy of Eid has been described in Surah Maida: Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) requested in Bargah-e-Illahi that Oh, Allah! Send Khawan-e-Nema’at from the sky, that day may remain Eid for those who were before us and for those who would come in the end, and it may be a sign from You, You bless us with Rizq, You are the best provider of Rizq. There is a saying of the Amirul Momineen (A.S.) Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that goes: The day on which no sin is committed, is the day of Eid for human beings.

The TNFJ chief said this time Eid-ul-Fitr is being observed at a time when bloody ‘holi’ is being played in Palestine and Kashmir; Afghanistan and Iraq are being destructed, new methods and techniques are being adopted to overcome the Islamic World; the honour and dignity of the whole humanity is being trampled; Islamic World and Pakistan are being punished for being sticking to the religion that is the biggest defender and protector of human dignity, that considers humiliation of humanity as Haram and considers human being respectable under the commandment of Quran. He said at a time when we have to thwart the conspiracies of enemies of humanities, we should also take care of the oppressed world, oppressed and Muslim nations, the poor, hungry, widows, and orphans and should help them to the possible extent.

Agha Moosavi said there is a sentence from the Dua of Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S.) that “Allah, We are in Your Bargah today i.e. Youm Al-Fitr that has been declared Youm-e-Eid for faithfuls by You and have provided cause of putting the Ahle Millat together, we offer Tauba from all those sins that we have committed or the evil that has been performed by us, or all those bad feelings that were found in our hearts and Tauba is a condition in which there is no feeling or decision to return to the sin again, this our Tauba is free of any doubt, please accept it, and become happy with us and keep us firm on Tauba. He then says: Declare us from amongst those Tauba seekers for whom You have termed Your love a must and whose subservience and following You have accepted. Oh, Allah! Forgive our forefathers, our mothers and all those who belong to our religion whether they have passed away or would pass away till the Day of Judgement, shower Your blessings on our Nabi (SAAW) and his Aal (A.S.).

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi greeting the Ahle Islam on this pious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr prayed to Allah to settle the whole universe on justice and fair-play. He said He sent Hadies for our guidance who were symbols of justice and fair-play and remained confronted with oppression and brutality, we follow Your religion that is the best and follow its Shariat that enjoys highest status and are followers of that Paighambar (SAAW) who is the best and after whom there would be no religion, Shariat or Paighambar, and belief in that Quran after which come no Book and You have introduced Ahle Bait (A.S.) to make us understand that Book about whom Your Rasool (SAAW) said: I am leaving Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) amongst you, keep in touch with them so you are not misled after me, and these two would not separate from each other unless they reach the Hoz-e-Kausar. Oh, Allah! No period remained without Your Hujjat, at present the whole world is confronted with debauchery and the oppression and brutality are the order of day, every Momin is at Your mercy. Oh, Allah! Send him who is kept in hiding so that he may restore justice and fair-play, put the Parcham-e-Islam fluttering high, root out oppression and brutality for ever, and Your religion may become the source of enlightenment all around.
