RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: In connection with the Shahadat of Quran-e-Natiq Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.), Ashra-e-Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) programmes continued all over the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out in all small and big cities and towns of the country.

In Rawalpindi, 14th annual Matmi procession under the auspices of Syed Karim Haider Shah Kazmi (late) & Syed Fazal Hussain Shah Kazmi (late) was taken out from Darbar Bawa Syed Lutf Ali Shah Kazmi Al-Mashadi in Chorh Harpal. Matmi groups from Rawalpindi and other cities participated in Matamdari and Noha-Khwani and paid pursa of the sixth Imam (A.S.) in Bargah-e-Risalat (SAAW).

The procession terminated at Darbar Sakhi Shah Piyara Kazmi Al-Mashadi after marching through Hali Road. A Majlis-e-Aza was held on the occasion.

Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressing the Majlis said that Imam Sadiq (A.S.) spent all his life in promoting Illahi Constitution, Dastoor-e-Muhammadi, and Uloom-e-Haideri and did not bow down before any dictator and tyrant ruler. As a punishment for promoting religion, Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) kissed Shahadat, he added. He made it clear that Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan is the only representative organisation of Maktab-e-Tashayyo the objective of which is to earn equal status for Fiqh-e-Jafariya to the other fiqhs because the Government is bound to do so under the May 21, 1985 agreement.

Allama Matloob Taqi in his address said that Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) is that great personality from the group of Sadeqeen who spent all his life in restoring rights and promoting righteousness and ultimately kissed Shahadat as a punishment for doing so. He said the presence of Shariat-e-Islam today is courtesy Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). He said when the powers that be face any difficulty they do remember Aastana-e-Imam Sadiq (A.S.). He said Azadari Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) remained on its height during his era, that is why Shariah Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) is present in Karbala-e-Mualla. Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Haideri, Mufti Basim Abbas Zahri, and Zakir Sagheer Hussain Kazmi also addressed the Majlis.

A resolution presented by Alaa Haider was unanimously approved which strongly condemned international magazine NewsWeek which published humiliating text on the page one of its publication terming Pakistan as the number one dangerous country of world.

The resolution made it clear that Pakistan and its people are peace-loving. The resolution called upon the Government of Pakistan to lodge protest against the biased attitude of the western media on diplomatic level. Another resolution terming the continued political confrontation and war of accusation as tragic declared it harmful for democracy and a source of strength to the satanic forces. The resolution called upon all parties to adopt mutual understanding, forgiveness, and sacrifice for solution of all problems faced by them.
