DAMASCUS, Syria: To celebrate the birth anniversary of the Twelfth Imam, Proof of Allah in the earth, Master of the Era Imam Al-Mahdi (as), tens of thousands of devotees from different parts of globe thronged at the holy Shrine of Sayyedah Zainab (sa) and Sayyedah Roqayyah (sa) in Damascus on Shaban 15.

Special A’maal of the night were performed at the shrines, mosques and hussainiyaat.

The festivals and celebratory gatherings marking the occasion were held at mosques, husssainiyaat and offices of Ayaat attended by hosts of devotees. Scholars and speakers threw light on the life of Imam Hujjah bin Al-Hasan Al-Askari (as), his occultation and responsibilities of ommah during this period.

Eulogists presented eulogies in the respected court of the Imam (as), thus extended their greetings to the holy family of Prophet Muhammad (saww).
