MANAMA, Bahrain: The birth anniversary of Hazrat Al-Imam Al-Hassan El-Mojtaba (AS), son of Amir `ol Mo’minein Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (AS) and Bed’ator Rasul Sayyedah Fatemah Zahra (AS) was observed with due fervor and reverence in Bahrain.

Streets, mosques and maatam were decorated with multihued buntings and pennants; Children exchanged gifts with each other marking the joyous occasion; Special iftar feasts and banquets were arranged and festive gatherings were held attended by multitudes.

Various religious organizations and groups organized the festive gatherings, functions, ehtafalat and iftar parties at different mosques, hussainiyaat and Maatam including Fatimah Az-Zahra (A) Mosque, Maatam Al-Imam Al-Baqer (A), Al-Mo’men Mosque, Hussainiyah Al-Qassab, Maatam bin Sallum, Maatam Ad-Darah, Maatam As-Samamik, Maatam Al-Haaj Ali Al-Mulla, Maatam Raas Ar-Rumman, Hussainiyah Al-Haj Ahmed bin Khamis and many others.           

Mauled Al-Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) observed in Bahrain MANAMA, Bahrain: Like other countries, Mauled or the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) was marked in Bahrain by holding festivals, functions, galas, feasts and seminars.
