Hezbollah, Amal push Arabs to back Lebanon crisis initiative

BEIRUT, Lebanon: Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Amal movements called on
Arab states to support the initiative of Lebanese Majlis Speaker,
Nabih Berri, regarding Lebanon crisis adopting positive approach
towards it and avoiding making any obstacle to its implementation.
Kuwaiti As-Siasah daily reported on its website that the leaders of
the both movements issued a joint statement and announced their
support to the initiative.
Pointing to the Zionist regime's military wargames, the statement said
that the regime is making attempt to take revenge for its defeat
during the war against Lebanon in summer of June, 2006.
"The wargame shows disability and crisis of the Zionist regime's
military," the statement added.
"The usurper Zionist regime is trying to improve its military morale
and renew its military power which was broken in the last war against
Lebanon."
