Qom celebrated this year also the day of Hazret-e-Seyedeh Fatimeh Al-Masumeh
(a.s.)’s arrival in their city with holding flowers, green branches,

Hazret Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.) is daughter of holy
Prophet (s.v.)’s 7th infallible successor Hazret-e-Imam Mousa Kazem (a.s.)
and sister of his (s.v.) eighth descendant Hazret-e-Imam-e-Reza (a.s.).
Her holy mausoleum houses in the holy city of Qom, Iran.
In love of her brother Imam Reza (a.s.), She departed holy Medinah for
Khorasan. It was 23 Rabiol Aval 201 hijri year when she reached the
holy city of Qom in her way to Khorasan.

When she entered Qom she witnessed the whole city was in
deep mourn; people were wearing black mourning dresses; she asked the
reason and then some elderly people told her: “our Imam Reza (a.s.)
was martyred with poison ….”
Hearing this heart-rending news she fell down of her she-camel and
passed away.
There are a number of sayings of Imams (a.s.) regarding her lofty
status.

Prior to her birth, Hazret-e-Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.)
spoke of her status: “Makkah is God's sanctuary, Medinah is Prophet
Muhammad's (s.v.), Kufa is Imam Ali's (a.s.), and Qom will be the
sanctuary for one of my descendents; her name shall be Fatimeh.
Whosoever visits her sanctuary will be rewarded paradise.”
Bihar-ul-Anwar, Vol. 48, Page 316 quotes a saying of Hazret-e-Imam Ali
Reza (a.s.) about his sister Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.): “The One who
visits her will be rewarded with paradise.”
