Iran leader condoles Shiraz blast bereaved families

TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has
expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of a recent
tragic explosion in Shiraz.
calling on all official institutions in charge to take immediate
action for a thorough probe into the incident, the leader also voiced
sympathy and expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the
martyrs and hoped for a speedy recovery of the injured.
About a dozen people have reportedly been killed and about 200
injured in the explosion which occurred in a cultural and religious
center in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz.
Abbas Mohtaj, Deputy Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, said
the blast had been an accident, and not an attack.
