AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and his sixth descendant Al-Imam Muhammad bin Ja’fer As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) on Raby Al-Olaa 17 was celebrated in oil-rich Mo’minin-dominated eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

Marking the auspicious and blessed occasion which was reverently celebrated from Raby Al-Olaa 12 to Raby Al-Olaa 17, grand festivals, galas, poetic gatherings, seminars, plays, symposiums and conferences were held at beautifully decorated mosques, husseiniyaat and ma’atam across the region.

In Al-Hafouf, a festive gathering was organized. Al-Qari Abbas Ash-Shiqaq opened the ceremony followed by speeches and eulogies by Al-Ostaz Abdulwahab Al-Hamd, Ali Abdullah Al-Ibad, Sayed Hamd Al-Makki, Al-Molla Talib Ismail and Loyi Al-Matr.

In Al-Matirfi, celebratory programs were organized at husseiniyah Al-Mostafa, husseiniyah Al-Mehna and many other venues.

Hadith Al-Kissa and Mauled An-Nabawi Ash-Sharif were recited in these gatherings.

Ali Ahmed Al-Imran, Al-Ostaz Issa Jawad Al-Bajhaan, Qari Sayed Adnan Al-Hashim, Abdul-Ilah Ahmed Alali, Sheikh Taufik Albu Khidar, Abdullah Ahmed Albu Khidar, Al-Ostaz Hussein Muhammad Al-Khalifa, Sayed Hasan Al-Ali, Yacoub Al-Qarin addressed and recited eulogies in praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and Ahlul Beit (peace be upon them).

In Tarout, children arranged a mauled celebration at Ar-Rif’ah mosque. Hussein Al-Habib began the program with recitation of Quranic verses and a speech on the holy life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny).

Hasan Ash-Shayeb, Khaled Hayyan, Habib Al-Bahrani, Abdulbari Ad-Dakhil and Sadeq As-Sehv also addressed.
