RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Ayyam-e-Wiladat of Imam Aali Muqam Hazrat Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.), Qamar-e-Bani Hashmi Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Ibne Ali (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and Hazrat Qasim ibne Hassan (A.S.) were observed throughout the country with devotion, respect and religious enthusiasm as a part of International Hafta-e-Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad.

Mahafil-e-Milad were held at mosques and Imambargahs and Youm-e-Hussain gatherings were organised on this occasion. Ulema, waizeen, and zakireen in their address termed attachment with the Daman-e-Hussain as a source of success here and the Hereafter. The main function of Youm-e-Hussain in Rawalpindi was held at Aza Khana Masooma-e-Qum under the auspices of Hayyat Tulaba-e-Islam.

Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address said that Hussainiyyat is commensurate with life and is eternal death for colonialism and Yazidiyyat. He said Allah and Rasool (SAAW) have declared love for Hussain (A.S.) as the central point of their love reason being Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) who played exemplary role in protecting Islam and supporting righteousness so that no dictator will dare cause any harm to the same till eternity. He said Karbala is the source of guidance for all movements of independence launched by the Muslim people and the oppressed nations whether they are in Kashmir, Palestine, Middle East or Central Asia.

Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Abu Ammad Jafri also addressed while Ibne Ali Kazmi, Arif Hassan Abidi, Mohsin Raza Bilali, Ali Zaib Kazmi, Riwayat Hussain Ravi, Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini presented poetic tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.). Hussain Salman recited from the Holy Quran while Syed Jone Ali Mashadi conducted the proceedings.

A resolution adopted on the occasion announced complete support for the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq and called upon the international organisations to strongly condemn the world of oppressors and make effective practical steps to stop colonial misdeeds and aggression and get the long-standing issues of Kashmir and Palestine resolved in the light of United Nations Resolutions keeping to desire of their respective people.

Another resolution called upon the rulers and the politicians to adopt the policy of mutual understanding in the backdrop of current situation and resolve the law and order issues on priority. The resolution called for effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act so as to root out incidents of terrorism, murder and arson from the country and to stop the banned groups from operating under new names.

Yet another resolution expressed complete confidence in the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and reiterated resolve to support any line of action given by him.

Khateeba Aal-e-Nabi Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi addressing the Mehfil-e-Hussainiyyat organised by Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Imam Al-Asr Waz Zaman at Shoeb-e-Abi Talib said that Imam Aali Muqam is that great Peshwa who had no example in the whole universe because Hussain (A.S.) alone saved the hard work performed by 124,000 Anbia-e-Karam. Mehfil-e-Milad was organised by the Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan (Women Wing) at Imambargah Zainul Abideen Satellite Town. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressed the Youm-e-Hussain Mehfil at Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan while Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Muqaddasi addressed a similar function organised by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Haider Karrar at Imambargah Ahle Bait Wah Cantt.

In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Jashan-e-Ghazi Abbas (A.S.) functions were organised by religious and Matmi Tanzeems and religious organisations. Ulema, waizeen, and zakireen highlighted the seerat and character of Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) and declared the practical following of the same the best and complete example to be followed by the Dunya-e-Wafa.

Jashan Pisran-e-Ali was organised at Jamia Masjid Jafaria, I-9 Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman-e-Jafariya. Imam-e-Juma Wal Jamaat Allama Syed Guftar Hussain Sadiqi presided over the function. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, and Khateeb Shakil Akhtar addressed the gathering while Ihsaan Ali, Kirdar Hussain Sadiqi, and Ali Talpur presented Qaseeda-e-Khwani in Bargah Alamdar-e-Hussaini (A.S.). A Mehfil-e-Milad was organised at Imambargah Zainul Abideen under the auspices of Hafta Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad District Committee. Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Zakir Samar Abbas Naqvi, Maulana Syed Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini, Riwayat Hussain Ravi and others addressed.

A Mehfil Zain Al-Aba was organised at Jamiatul Momineen. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address said that the life span of Hazrat Ali Ibn Al-Hussain Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was replete with oppression, brutality and dodging and no person, man, woman, young and old was safe; dictators and tyrant rulers utilised all their energy to divert him from the righteous path but he, despite being chained and gaoled, removed the artificial veils of Islam from the faces of oppressors and tyrants through his great Khutbaat that he delivered in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Ibne Ziad and Yazid rather he shattered the courts of Yazidiyyat and tyranny. Mufti Basim Zahiri said that Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) proved through his deeds that neither his forefathers bowed down nor they could be forced to do so.

Syed Arif Al-Hussaini in his address said that Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen was entrusted with two important responsibilities. He took care of the bereaved family members of the Shuhada and also performed the duty of protecting and defending them besides protecting the blood of Shuhada. He saw oppression and brutality all around him and presented the charter of protecting human rights in the shape of Saheefa-e-Sajjadia to save the humanity and to inflict defeat on oppression and brutality. Minor Khateeb Syed Ali Zaib Kazmi also addressed the gathering.

A resolution adopted on the occasion expressed grave concern over the ongoing political confrontation in the country and called upon the government and the opposition to give attention to real issues in the larger interest of the nation and the country because the people were facing price hike.

Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Muqaddasi and other renowned ulema and zakireen addressed a Mehfil-e-Milad organised at Masjid and Imambargah Wah Cantt. under the auspices of Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Haider Karrar. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressed Mehfil Syed-us-Sajideen followed by Qaseedah Khwani organised at Markazi Masjid and Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan Islamabad.

Mahafil-e-Milad and festive functions were also organised at Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Imambargah Shaheedan-e-Karbala, Imambargah Qasr-e-Zainab, Ali Masjid Dehlaliah, Imambargah Jagir Ali Akbar, Qadeemi Imambargah, Darbar Sakhi Shah Piyara, Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir, Imambargah Zainul Abideen, Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazim, Imambargah Jafariya, Imambargah Qasr-e-Imam Ali Naqi, Imambargah Kazmia Gahi, and Imambargah Qasr-e-Rubab.
