RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has declared the gory murder of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash, Deputy Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya a naked aggression and open act of terrorism.

In a statement issued from the Markaz-e-Tashayyo, he said it is a continuation of heinous conspiracy hatched by our combined enemy who was utilising all her energy in fanning provincialism, regionalism and sectarianism so as to achieve her nefarious designs by pitching brother against brother but, he added, the enemy had to face defeat in the past and every conspiracy of her’s would also be thwarted in future also.

Agha Moosavi said that we cannot be diverted from the righteous path through terrorism. He made it clear that Shahadat (martyrdom) is Momin (believer)’s inheritance and is a source of boasting for us.

He said Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash was his spiritual son and was a staunch supporter of Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen, and only those forces are involved in his murder that dislike unity of the Islamic World.

He said precarious situation of the Sarhad province is the result of wrong policies of the former provincial government while the present government did not take any practical step to correct the same despite inviting her attention to this issue many a time. He said a government that could not restore peace has no right to rule.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi strongly demanded from the government to arrest the assassins of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash forthwith and give them exemplary punishment.

He made a fervent appeal to the patriotic forces to remain peaceful and thwart the conspiracies of enemies of Islam and Pakistan through mutual unity and brotherhood. He said we always preached brotherhood and mutual understanding and worked for the supremacy of the motherland and would continue our practical struggle in future also.

Meanwhile, according to TNFJ Sarhad’s Provincial Spokesman Riaz Ali Kausari, some unknown terrorists shot dead Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash, Deputy Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya. He set out from his residence in Hayatabad where some hiding terrorists sprayed bullets on him as a result of which he kissed Shahadat on the spot. He was immediately taken to Khyber Medial Hospital where a large number of provincial office-bearers and workers of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya had gathered. The provincial elite preached the workers to remain peaceful. The body of the Shaheed was sent to Imambargah Haider Shah in Peshawar City where his funeral prayers were to be offered after Isha prayers. It may be mentioned here that Sardar Mumtaz Qazilbash was also the caretaker (Mutawalli) of his Imambargah.
