By: Salman Alvi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A suicide blast outside the emergency gate of a hospital crowded with mourners in Dera Ismail Khan left at least 30 people martyred and wounded 35 others on Tuesday.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced 3-day mourning on the martyrdom of dozens of innocent people in the tragic incident of terrorism there while TNFJ Secretary General Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate has summoned a high-level meeting of the Tehreek at Markaz-e-Tashayyo on the special directive of Agha Moosavi.

The meeting would review important national and international matters and important decisions would also be taken.

Meanwhile, Youm-e-Tarheem was observed throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi to pay homage to all Shuhada including TNFJ Deputy Secretary General Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash without any discrimination for sacrificing their life for the religion and the motherland.

Agha Moosavi addressing a gathering on the occasion said that international colonial powers and her agents were involved in the D.I. Khan incident. He said the international colonial powers by exerting pressure and testing the government desire to know who the main source of power in Pakistan is after the resignation of President. Therefore, he added, the rulers are under the obligation to ensure law and order and provide peace to people, first. He said rulers who cannot restore peace in the country have no justification to remain in power.

The TNFJ chief demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment to the assassins of Shuhada of D.I. Khan and that of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash while a high level Tribunal should be set up to compensate the losses and probe the incidents. He lamented that rulers condole and help those with whom they have links and relations while they do not bother to even sympathise other sections of society.

He warned the government to consider Pakistan the most dearest and give priority to its survival, integrity and restoration of peace otherwise government will be responsible for what is going on or will be done. He made it clear that they have always preached peace and love, and given priority to peace and tranquillity but, perhaps, the rulers consider our gentlemanliness as our weakness. He made fervent appeal to the people to give priority to unity and brotherhood and thwart every conspiracy of the enemy against Pakistan by remaining alert and they will have to create the spirit of Tehreek-e-Pakistan for this purpose. He said we would thwart every conspiracy of the enemies of the religion and the motherland by becoming one and pious.

Meanwhile, ulema and zakireen highlighted the philosophy of Shahadat in their address at Majalis organised by various religious organisations in all small and big cities and towns of the country including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

A peaceful demonstration was organised by the District Youm-e-Tarheem Committee of the TNFJ Rawalpindi against terrorism and blasphemy. TNFJ Rawalpindi President Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, local leaders of M.O., MFP, MSO and religious elite led the demonstration. Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan addressed the gathering after which the demonstrators dispersed peacefully.

Youm-e-Tarheem Majlis was organised at Ali Hall under the auspices of Hayyat Tulaba-e-Islam. Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Modarris lauded the religious and national services of Sardar Mumtaz Qazilbash. Dua was offered for the Shuhada of all schools of thought including Shaheed Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash on this occasion.
