MANAMA, Bahrain: Festivals, feasts, galas and seminars were
arranged at beautifully decorated husseiniyat, mosques and ma’atam
across the tiny kingdom of Bahrain in connection with the anniversary
of birth of Al-Imam Muhammad Al-Mehdi Al-Montadar (the awaited imam
from the progeny of prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them).

Addressing the gatherings, speakers threw light on the significance
of the blessed night and day of Sha’ban 15 as well as occultation of
Al-Imam Al-Mehdi (AS) and duties of a believer during Imam (AS)’s
occultation.

They also urged the government to give Shias, who make up majority
in the country, their fundamental rights.
