Shias should use right to vote as Grade-I citizens, TNFJPC declares E-Policy
By: Salman Alvi
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The TNFJ Political Cell has
announced that the people belonging to Maktab-e-Tashayyo should use
their right to vote as the Grade-I citizens of Pakistan.
This was stated by Chairman Zulfiqar Ali Raja while addressing a Press
conference at Press Club Rawalpindi-Islamabad Camp Office along with
Additional Secretary General of Tehreek and Prof. Ghulam Abbas Haideri,
Secretary General of the Political Cell here on Thursday. Syed Qamar
Haider Zaidi Central Spokesman of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya
Pakistan and Allama Basharat Hussaini Imami District President
Islamabad were also present on the occasion.

Zulfiqar Ali Raja explaining the Election Policy said
that the Ahl-e-Tashayyo should vote to those candidates and parties
who are laced with commitment of restoration of justice and fair-play
and rooting out oppression and brutality; are protectors and
supporters of Musawwar-e-Pakistan, Founder of Pakistan and the
Nazria-e-Asaasi; are symbols of Federation and guarantors of the
rights of all the provinces; avoid biases, are protectors of the
rights of all schools of thought including the minorities, and are
followers of the Constitution and the Legislation; and are used to
support the oppressed and have-nots and practically express their
hatred against oppression and brutality.
Answering a question, he said those personalities who have given
commitment to the candidates of National and Provincial Assemblies in
the personal are collective capacity, should fulfil their promises.
Giving a reference of an historic occasion about fulfilment of
commitment, he said when two persons reached before the Holy Prophet (SAAW)
after being released by Kuffar-e-Makkah and sought permission for
jehad, the Holy Prophet (SAAW) asked did you make any promise with
Kuffar? They said we were released on the condition not to participate
in jehad with you. On this, the Holy Prophet (SAAW) said you cannot
participate in jehad then. They said this commitment was with Kuffar
but the Holy Prophet (SAAW) said that it is necessary to keep the
promise.
When asked which party fulfils the qualities stated by the TNFJ’s
policy, Syed Shujaat Bokhari said at present the people are most
sensible than politicians and they know better what to do. He made it
clear that people who opposed Pakistan Ideology are not included in
them but those people should be voted who are oppressed and support
the oppressed, while identifying such parties and candidates is the
job of the people. To another question, he said TNFJ Political Cell
has always given an honourable policy on the occasion of all elections
in the past and these policies always remained successful. Those who
participate in election on Maktabi basis would feel embarrassed on the
policy being given during these elections, he added. He said we desire
to see Pakistan Ideology reign supreme.
Zulfiqar Ali Raja said that survival, development, integrity, and
political stability are commensurate with the national unity of any
State. Our religion is Islam and it has showered our State with golden
principles for political stability, unity and brotherhood, he said
adding that mutual consultation and democracy have been termed most
important for one of these elements i.e. political stability of the
country on which Surah-e-Shoora also stands witness. He said the
objective of democracy is to run the State affairs in line with the
religion and Shariah, brining stability to the motherland, and finding
such a viable solution for internal and external issues in which the
country, its people and the basic ideology of the country remain
intact and all internal and external conspiracies and mischief could
be tackled with amicably.
The TNFJ Political Cell chief said that at present we are surrounded
by the international colonial powers from all around because they are
afraid of Islam and, therefore, using all tactics to defame Muslims by
giving hateful names to them. The South Asia region has been given
independence but the enemy could not digest creation of Pakistan,
therefore, they had left their inheritors behind in the shape
different groups that had always been a biggest hurdle in way of
Pakistan’s consolidation, development and stability, he added. These
are the people, he said, who always considered religion and Shariat as
the personal matter of the individual despite being known that all
world systems have lost their attraction and only Islam is blessed
with the singular honour of being capable of resolving all problems.
On this basis, a particular group not only opposed the Pakistan
Movement openly rather they declared the struggle to achieve it as
‘Kufr’ but as Pakistan had to come into existence, it was created and
by the Grace of God is an atomic power now, he added.
Zulfiqar Ali Raja said that we have always considered politics as
subservient to religion and Shariat and it is so because Tehreek Nafaz
Fiqh-e-Jafariya is purely a religious organisation and as per a saying
of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, electoral
politics on the basis of Maktab and sect is poisonous for the nation
and the country and, moreover, no particular Maktab or Maslak but
Islam is the official religion of the motherland. Therefore, he added,
it is utmost important that one should not participate in electoral
politics in the name of Maktab. If this ‘Amanat’ is encroached upon in
any way then the leadership of the nation and the country could land
into wrong hands, therefore, he added, fulfilling their national
responsibilities they should vote in the February 18, 2008 general
elections, along with other citizens of the country.
