RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The “Hafta-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala” (Week of Captives of Karbala) began on Tuesday all over the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Majalis-e-Aza were held and Matmi processions were taken out in all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas on this occasion. Ulema, zakireen and waizeen in their address paid homage to the great sacrifices of Aseeran-e-Karbala Mukhaderat-e-Ismat and Taharat.

During the Azadari programmes, it was reiterated that the mission of Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) would continue come what may, and the idols of Yazidiyyat, tyranny and terrorism would be torn apart.

Majalis and Matamdari programmes were held in Imambargahs and Aza Khanas of the Federal Capital Islamabad by different organisations and institutions in connections with Ashra Aseeran-e-Karbala.

Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya addressing a Majlis organised at Qasr-e-Ali ‘D’ Block under the auspices of Basharat Ali Jafri Salar Hussaini Matmi Dasta, said that Azadari is the universal protest and hatred against oppressors of every era. He said the Islamic system rests on the guidance of strongly pillars of Quran and Ahle Bait and it has been advised in the Hadees-e-Saqlain to follow the same. He said the whole humanity could be get rid of all problems and difficulties by following the seerat of Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

He made it clear that Wila-e-Ali (A.S.) and Aza-e-Hussain (A.S.) are the Asaas of our belief and all Makatib respect the greatness of Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) and respect the Sadaat in a similar manner. He said Azadari-e-Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) is that great memorial owing to which the message of religion is being disseminated in the world today. Zakir Abdul Ghaffar Kausar, Syed Raza Kazmi, Syed Bu Turab Askari, and Hassan Muhammad Zaidi also addressed the Majlis that followed taking out of Alam Mubarik of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S.). Markazi Matmi Dasta Rawalpindi, Hussaini Matmi Dasta and other Matmi Halqas participated in Matamdari and Noha-Khwani.

Zakirah Mrs. Qurrat-ul-Ain addressing a Majlis at Jamia-tul-Murtaza under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam (Registered) said that heart-rending addresses of the Mukhaderat-e-Ismat and Taharat, in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad, are brightened chapters of Tareekh-e-Hussainiyyat.

She said while Imam Hussain (A.S.) scaled Karbala, Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) shattered Kufa. Had Sharikatul Hussain Zainab Binte Ali not been shoulder-to-shoulder with Hussain (A.S.) in Karbala, then the Karbala would have been incomplete.

Maulana Aqeel Abbas Kazmi addressing a Majlis at Aza Khana Masooma-e-Qum under the auspices of Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia said that Islam is the collection of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’. He said Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) gave an eternal lease of life to Islam by giving his head in Sajdah in the plains of Karbala. He said we would have to practically adopt Hussainiyyat to make the world a hub of peace.
