Bahrainis mark Moharram 25, hold Husseini mourning programs

MANAMA, Bahrain: Bahrainis reverently observed on Moharram 25 the
martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussein Zayn-ol Abidin
(AS).
Marking the occasion, massive Majalis wa mawakeb al-azaiyah or the
Husseini mourning sittings and processions were held at husseiniyaat,
ma’atam and mosques across the tiny kingdom.
The programs that began on the eve of Moharram 25 continued till
the next day. Tabarrok (meal) was served on the table of Al-Imam Ali
ibn Al-Hussein Zayn-ol Abidin (AS).
Replica coffin of the imam (AS) was also taken out in the processions.
