SEERHIYAN SYEDAN, Azad Kashmir: Like other global parts, Azadari, or mourning for Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) is in continuation in Azad Kashmir with due fervor and religious spirit to pay homage to the matchless sacrifice presented by Imam Hussin (AS) and his companions in Karbala some 1400 years ago for defense of Islam and Shariah and safety of human values.

Alam (standard) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) was raised high on the reception of Muharram at markazi imambargah Moosa Kazim (AS). Matmi groups from remote areas also participated in the ceremony.

In Seerhiyan Syedan, Tehsil Haweli, Azad Kashmir, shab-e-Ashour and roz-e-Ashour Majalis were held addressed by Syed Manazir Shah Kazmi, Allama Syed Zahid Hussin Shah (Seerhiyan Syedan) and Allama Syed Fakhar Abbas Kazmi (Titri Note). Later, procession was taken out under guardianship of Syed Imtiaz Shah Kazmi. On this occasion, members of Mukhtar Students Organization and Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Seerhiyan Syedan unit performed their duties and remained with the procession throughout the route.

A resolution thrown by Deputy Nazimul Amoor TNFJ Syed Ibrar Kazmi was unanimously adopted by the participant. by the resolution, Mominin of Seerhiyan Syedan reiterated their resolve to say yes on every call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
