Kashmiris commemorating sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (a.s.)

SRINAGAR, Held Kashmir: The matchless sacrifice of Hazrat Imam
Hussain (a.s.) presented in the scorching desert of Karbala some 14
centuries ago along with his 72 companions for defense of religion and
protection of high human values is being commemorated in Indian Held
Kashmir like other global parts.
In Srinagar on January 17, a big Hussaini mourning procession was
taken out. During the procession, the mourners by performing
zanjir-zani paid homage to the martyrs of Karbala whose blood
nourished the tree of Islam.
