AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Environment of pleasure and
happiness was seen in the oil-rich Mo’minin-dominated eastern region
of Saudi Arabia marking Eid Al-Ghadir Al-Agharr which falls on 18th
day of last Islamic month of Dhol hijjah.




Special festive gatherings, conferences, poetic nights
and galas were held at beautifully decorated mosques, husseiniyat and
homes.




Eid al-Ghadir is that auspicious day when the Prophet
Muhammad (S) declared Imam Ali (A) his first successor in front of
100,20,000 pilgrims at the site of Ghadir Khomm holding his hand high
and saying: whomsoever I am master, Ali is his master.
