Thousands of Muslims, Christians celebrate Imam Ali (AS) b-day in US

MICHIGAN, The United States: A grand celebration was
witnessed in Michigan marking the birth anniversary of Walid Al-Ka’abah
Al-Imam Ali b. Abi Talib (AS). Thousands of Muslims and Christians
from all stratums of life as well as clerics and bishops attended.
The celebratory congregation, titled “gathering of love and
brotherhood” was organized on Sunday July 13 for eight hours.
People belonging to different nationalities i.e. Iraqis, Yemenis,
Lebanese, Egyptians, and Morocco were the participants.
Ajami As-Saidi, Sayed Mostfa As-Safi, Dearborn bishop Hanna Solaga,
Dr. David, former candidate for US Congress membership Professor Ali
Ash-Shami, candidate for post of justice in Dearborn Lawyer Candis
Eyonik, member of Human Rights Organization in US Aqeel Al-Qabtan, Al-Allamah
Sayed Fadhel Jamaloddin, Sheikh Kaiser and many others addressed the
gathering highlighting great status of al-Imam Ali (AS) who was born
in Ka’abah (Houe of Allah) in the holy city of Makkah on Rajab 13.
The venue was beautifully decorated with lights and balloons.
The celebration ended with cutting of a five-storey marvelous cake.
