AHWAZ, Iran: Like other cities and towns of Iran, Mo’minin celebrated the birth anniversary of Hazret Amir-ol Mo’minin Al-Imam Ali Al-Morteza (AS) in Ahwaz also.

Big celebratory functions were organized at mosques and hoseiniat that were beautifully decorated with lights and flowers. Thousands of devotees of Ahl-i-Beit participated in these ceremonies held on Rajab 12 and 13.

Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (AS), the brother of the Apostle of Allah, his helper Khalifa bila fasl in his affairs and his son-in-law (being married) to his daughter--- mistress of the women of the worlds Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (AS), was born in the sacred house of Allah Ka'aba in Makkah on 13th day of Rajab, 30 years after the year of elephant (Aamul Feel).
