HOLY CITY OF QOM/ SEHAT: Marking the holy month of Rajab, Aamaal
(special deeds, aytakaaf, supplications and prayers) are being
performed in the holy cities of Mashhad and Qom – home to the holy
shrines of Hazret Imam-e-Reza (AS) and Hazret Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (AS)
– in particular and across Iran in general as well as Saudi Arabia.

Rajab, the one of those four months, which are called the months in
which fighting was prohibited and they are Rajab, Zeeqa'ad, Zilhajj
and Muharram, is the 7th month of Islamic calendar. Allah has bestowed
to it honour, respect, glory and preference.
A saying of Holy Prophet (peace of Allah be upon him his progeny)
goes:
"Rajab is the month of Ali (AS), Shabaan mine while Ramazan that of
Allah's"

In Saudi Arabia, Aamal of Ommi Daud – a three-day special deed of
Rajab which consists of fasting, bathing and prayers - were performed
at different venues in the oil-rich mo’minin-dominated eastern region.
Large number of worshippers did Aamal of Ommi Daud in Al-Imam Al-Hasan
(AS) mosque in Sehat city.
