AL-MANAMA, Bahrain: To mark the sad occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Sayyedato Nessa-el Aalamin Sayyedah Fatimah Az-Zahraa (AS), daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SW), majalis was mawakeb al-azaiyah (mourning sittings and processions) were held across this tiny kingdom.

Tens of thousands of mourners attended these gatherings beating their chests and heads and shedding tears to signify their deep grief on the martyrdom of Sayyedah (AS) thus extended their condolence to the Prophet (SW) and his progeny (AS).

Speakers in their addresses threw light on the life of Sayyedah Al-Batoul Az-Zahraa (AS) and depicted her sufferings after the sad demise of her respected father Prophet Muhammad (SW).

These majalis were held at different mosques, husseiniyaat and ma’atam including husseiniyah Aal-i-Abdulhayi where Sheikh Mehdi Al-Karzkani, Sayyed Hadi Al-Karbalayi and Sheikh Munir Ma’touk addressed.
