RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The “Youm-e-Wiladat” of
Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was observed
throughout the country on Wednesday as a part of
“Hafta-e-Azmat-e-Muhammad (SAWW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (AS)” (Week of
Greatness of Muhammad and his progeny) on the call of Quaid-i-Millat
Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi with due religious and
national fervour.
The day began with recitation from Holy Quran after Fajr prayers in
mosques. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen, in their address on the
occasion, highlighted the seerat of Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Imam
Zainul Abideen (A.S.).


Greeting functions were organised by religious organisations,
institutions and trusts in all small and big cities and towns of the
country including Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Northern
Areas and Rawalpindi Region. Peaceful demonstrations were also held in
different cities against blasphemy in western countries and acts of
terrorism in Bajaur, Mardan, Kohat and other cities.
In Rawalpindi, the protest demonstration was led by TNFJ Punjab
Province President Allama Abu Jafar Naqvi, Regional President
Rawalpindi Allama Abul Hassan Taqi, Central Convener Hafta
Hazmat-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad Committee Dr. S. Zaman, Allama
Mohsin Ali Al-Hussaini, Allama Qalb-e-Abbas Bokhari, Allama Basharat
Imami and others. Allama Abu Jafar Naqvi also addressed the gathering.


The demonstrators were carrying portraits of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya
Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and banners and placards inscribed
with different slogans. They dispersed peacefully after chanting
vociferous slogans.
Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of
Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan addressing the Mehfil Zainul
Abideen (A.S.) organised by Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islam at Aza Khana
Masooma-e-Qum Rawalpindi said the Youm-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Imam Zainul
Abideen (A.S.) was being observed on May 21 this year that reminds the
8-month long agitation launched by Hussaini Mohaz Rawalpindi under the
leadership of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah
Moosavi in which all schools of thought had participated and more than
14,000 people had courted arrest leading to Junejo-Moosavi agreement
signed on May 21, 1985.
He said the Pakistani people will again become a concrete wall against
the enemies of the religion and motherland and would thwart every
conspiracy of theirs in future also. He demanded that the
Junejo-Moosavi agreement signed on May 21, 1985 should be implemented
in letter and spirit.
A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the western
media and colonial powers for committing blasphemous acts and termed
unending acts of desecration of Islam, Mashaheer, and Sha’a’irullah a
heinous conspiracy.
The resolution called upon the Muslim Ummah to exercise wisdom and
become a concrete wall against every conspiracy of the international
Taghoot and devise a courageous and viable strategy from the united
platform.
Another resolution demanded the restoration of holy shrines of
Mashaheer-e-Islam including that of Hazrat Zainul Abideen (A.S.) in
Jannatul Baqee. In this connection the government was asked to use
diplomatic channels to restore the dignity of the Islamic World.
Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Sardar Tariq Ahmed Jafri and Syed Aun Abbas
Kazmi addressed the gathering while Zakir Matloob Hussain Kazmi, Syed
Nazir Hussain Shah, Riwayat Hussain Bokhari, Hassan Raza Kiani, Madad
Ali Haideri, Ali Abbas Bokhari, Syed Mohsin Kazmi presented poet
Nazrana-e-Aqeedat. Jafar Khan recited from the Holy Quran while Syed
Jone Ali Mashadi performed as stage secretary.
Khateebah Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi addressed a Mehfil Zainul Abideen (A.S.)
organised by Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Imam-ul-Asr Waz Zaman at Sheb-e-Abi
Talib in which she said that Waris-e-Khoon-e-Hussain (inheritor of
Hussaini blood) Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) turned the gaols
into places of worship and his uswah is still the beacon of light for
the oppressed world.
Apa Syeda Hussain and Binte Musa Moosavi also addressed the Mehfil
while Lewaa Zainab, Labwah Haider, Jadwah and Abeer Zaidi performed
Qaseeda Khwani.
