HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: In commemoration of the anniversary of martyrdom of Seyedaton-Nesaa-el Aalameen Hazret Seyedeh Fatimeh Az-Zahraa (a.s.), the only beloved daughter of Prophet Hazret Muhammad (s.v.) on 13 Jamadee Al-Aval, people of Qom performed azadari.

Main mourning gathering to mark the sad occasion was held at the holy shrine of Karimeh-e-Ahli Beit Hazret Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.), sister of Hazret Imam Reza (a.s.), in the holy city of Qom.

Tens of thousands of mourners attended the gathering and performed azadari (chest- and head-beating, reciting marsia and noha, shedding tears etc) and thus offered their condolence to Prophet Hazret Muhammad (s.v.) on the martyrdom of his daughter.
