Iran Supreme Leader shows up prayers role in correcting society

TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on
Wednesday prayers play a significant role in rectifying men and the
society and that such Islamic symbols particularly prayers should be
evident in various parts of the society.
In a meeting with participants in the 17th Nationwide Prayers
Conference, he said: "If man successfully controls his carnal desires,
he will attain bliss and happiness but if he fails to do so, he will
end up in tyranny, prostitution, poverty and arrogance."
Promotion of true culture of prayers would bring peace of mind,
security and tranquility to the society, underlined the Ayatollah.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
