Sistani office refutes his travel to Iran

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Office of Al-Marje Al-Aala Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini
As-Sistani has denied the news regarding his travel to Iran published
in some newspapers.
In a press note on Monday November 24, a source close to the office
said that Al-Marje As-Sistani has not left Holy Najaf adding that till
Monday morning the Ayatullah was in his office in the holy city and
received delegations that had come to meet him.
Some dailies had reported that As-Sistani has departed for Iran to
perform Ziarah of Al-Imam Ali b. Moussa Ar-Redha (AS) buried in the
holy city of Mash’had.
