RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi Al-Jawwad (A.S.) was placed at the height of Zuhd-o-Taqwa (piety) and world could be turned into a hub of international peace by practically following his teachings.

He stated this while announcing to observe “International Youm-e-Taqwa” on Friday (Zeeqa’ad 29) marking the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Taqi Al-Jawwad (A.S.). He said the objective of creating human beings is worship and achievement of Zuhd-o-Taqwa is essence of the worship. Taqwa has been considered philosophy of worship that is why about prayer it has been said that it stops one from shamelessless and evil while Taqwa has also been considered as the standard of supremacy.

Agha Moosavi made it clear that Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) are those holy personalities who put Zuhd-o-Taqwa on its height. The Imam (A.S.) was declared ‘Taqi’ on the basis of Zuhd and Taqwa. He was brought up by his father Ali Ibne Musa Ar-Reza (A.S.) and mother Hazrat Sabeeka Khatoon. He fulfilled his duty of protecting Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat which was entrusted to him by his forefathers.

He said Allama Sibte Ibne Jozi writes in his book ‘Tazkira-tul-Khawas’ that Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) was born in 195 Hijra and kissed Shahadat in 220 Hijra when he only 25. He was like his father Imam Ali Bin Musa (A.S.) in knowledge, Taqwa, generosity and piousness. He was given the titles of ‘Murtaza’ and ‘Qaneh’ and was buried beside his father. His shrine is hub of his devotees even today.

The TNFJ chief said that there is a saying of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) that respect of Momin is in keeping ‘Bay Niazi’ from the people. This saying is a lesson for those who are roaming around for begging.

There is another saying that goes: Avoid friendship of a bad person because a sharp sword looks beautiful but its effects are bad. This saying is an advice for the international colonial powers and their agents who roam around the White House instead Bait Allah the results of which are being faced by the nation in the shape of incidents of murder, arson and terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that we can get rid of international colonial powers and overcome all types of crises by following the golden principles of Khatam Al-Mursaleen (SAAW), Ahle Bait Atahaar (A.S.) and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and increase the honour and dignity of motherland Pakistan.

He said we present condolences of followers of religion and Shariat to Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) along with lakhs of Darood-o-Salam and express support to the oppressed and hatred against oppression and brutality.

Meanwhile, TNFJ Committee to organise International Youm-e-Taqwa was formed. Dr. S.M. Rizvi has been nominated as it Convener and Syed Asif Kazmi as Secretary of this Committee.
