ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Youm-e-Wafat of Khatoon-e-Awwal Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was observed throughout the country as International Youm Al-Huzn throughout the country. Majalis-e-Aza were organised throughout the country while Taboots were taken out in ladies Majalis. Ulema in their address highlighted the seerat of Ummul Momineen and paid homage to her invaluable sacrifices for Islam.

In Federal Capital Islamabad, a Majlis was organised at Markazi Imambargah Jamia-tul-Murtaza G-9/4 under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam. Khateeba Aal-e-Aba Syeda Bintul-Huda in her address on the occasion said that Quran said that Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is amongst those four women who give supremacy over women at large and whose deed has been declared as His own by the Zaat-e-Illahi on which Quranic Ayah also stands witness which says: Rasool, We found you poor, and then made you wealthy. All Mufassireen agree that this Ayah is a clear-cut reference to the supremacy of Hazrat Khadija (S.A.).

She said that Shah Abdul Qadir says that Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) was among the elite in her nation and married with the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW), she presented all her wealth in honour of the Rasool (SAAW) that provided monetary and economic strength and basis to Islam while the manpower was provided by the most important personality from amongst Aulad-e-Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) i.e. Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) who was Holy Prophet’s (SAAW) uncle, and father of Haider-e-Karrar (A.S.). She said that today, the fruits of Islam all around the world are courtesy Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) and Abu Talib (A.S.). She said how great this pious woman is who threw all her wealth in the feet of the Holy Prophet (SAAW) and spent her life in Sheb-e-Abi Talib remaining hungry and thirsty most of the time and stuck to patience.

Despite all that she always thanked Allah and did not repent and remained busy in Zikr-e-Illahi. She came out from the Shoeb-e-Abi Talib in the 10th year of Ba’asat. The same year Nasir-e-Rasool, Momin-e-Quresh Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and Mohsina-e-Islam Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) passed away, she said and added that Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) was shocked on this tragic development to the extent that he declared the year of Wafat of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) as Aam Al-Huzn i.e. the year of mourning.

Syeda Bintul-Huda said that unfortunately Muslims were following the colonial commandments instead of keeping Quran and sayings of the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) in mind and the whole Islamic World is undergoing the punishment for the same.

She said during the last 10 years life of the oppressed and unarmed Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine has been made difficult; Afghanistan and Iraq have been destructed in the garb of 9/11 and its pressure is being exerted on Pakistan; new tactics and demands are being used; attacks of the allied forces on Pakistan’s soil have become the order of the day; and American Chairman Chief of Staff Admiral Mike Moline has challenged our national honour by giving approval to attack inside Pakistan. In these circumstances, statement issued by Chief of the Army Staff Gen. Ishfaq Kiani is the voice of the whole nation, and every soul of Pakistan will, Inshallah, join the advanced forces for the defence of every inch of this land.

The participants of the Majlis strongly condemned the national newspapers for not publishing special edition of the Wafat of Momina-e-Awwal Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and ignorance of this occasion by the electronic and print media. The resolution while strongly condemning the hand-grenade and firing attack on worshippers in Dir area expressed heartfelt grief over the heavy loss of life and declared this incident an activity of the anti-Islam forces.

Abeela Kazmi and Nazima Kazmi also addressed the Majlis. Matamdari was also organised after the Majlis-e-Taboot. Ummul Baneen WF, Sakina Generation, and Girl Guides performed the security arrangements, Umdadul Haffaz Syeda Binte Musa Moosavi recited from the Holy Quran while the Majlis was conducted by Zainab Alvia, Aapa Syeda Hussain, Syeda Lawa-e-Zainab Kazmi, and Fatima Binte Aqeel.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Convener of International Youm Al-Huzn Committee addressing a Majlis-e-Aza at Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan said that Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is that great Mohsina of Islam on which Quran stands witness. She has the honour of being the first Musaddiqa-e-Paighambar while Islam prospered through her wealth and sacrifices of her offspring.

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching the office of International Youm Al-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ, ladies Majalis were held and Taboots were taken out in their Majalis in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Hyderabad, Karachi, Sukkur, Khairpur Mirs, Multan, Lahore, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Sakardu, Kharian, Kasur, Shikarpur, Fateh Jang, Pindi Gheb, Deena, and Sialkot.
