S Arabia: Devotees commence Layali Al-Qadr, Imam Ali mourning observation

AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary
of Master of Believers Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Taleb (AS) and observation
of Layali Al-Qadr in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia – Al-Qatif,
Al-Ahsaa – as well as the holy city of Medinah began on Friday
September 19, night between Ramadan 18-19.
During the three-night (Ramadan 19-21) commemoration, majales al-azaa,
religious gatherings and cultural conferences are being held at
mosques, husseiniyat and ma’atam in Al-Qatif, Tarout, Al-Awamiyah,
Safwa and other cities and towns.
Aamaal of Layali Al-Qadr led by respected clerics and scholars are
also held at different venues including Al-Imam Ar-Ridha mosque in
Ar-Rabiyah.
