RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the whole Islamic society is thankful to Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) who fed Islam with her wealth as a result of which the echoes of Kalma-e-Tauheed are being heard in every nook and corner of the world.

This was stated by him while announcing to observe “Universal Youm ul-Huzn” on 10th Ramazan-ul-Mubarik in connection with the Wisal of Malikatul Arab, Nasira-e-Deen and Shariat, Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.).

He said there were many personalities who were symbols of high values. He said there is a saying of the Holy Prophet (SAAW) that there are many men who were Kamil Al-Iman but amongst womenfolk none of the women except Aasia binte Mazaham (wife of Pharaoh), Maryam (mother of Musa), Khadija binte Khwailad and Fatima binte Muhammad (SAW) were Kamil Al-Iman.

Agha Moosavi said that the Khwailad family was laced with honour, dignity, gentlemanliness, wealth, superiority, greatness and after the Bani Hashim, this family was famous for these qualities. The great daughter of that Khanwada, Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) not only enlightened the name of her Khanwada through her character and deeds rather increased the dignity of women at large in the comity of nations. He said Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) had rejected many great names of the whole Arab world that were desirous of marrying her owing to their Hasb-e-Nasb. He said when a Zionist scholar saw the Holy Prophet (SAAW), he requested Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) to send for him. When the Holy Prophet (SAAW), the Zionist scholar observed the signs of Nabuwwat in him and said he is the Khatam Al-Nabiyyeen (SAAW) and the woman who will get him as husband would be the luckiest. Giving some more details that scholar recited some couplets pointing towards her and said he had read in ‘Ingeel’ about him and he will soon present what he would get from ‘Wahi’, would bring Allah’s book Holy Quran, that respectable Nabi (SAAW) will marry you and will be superior than all tribes and creatures. He said that after their marriage, the way she performed as his wife is a beacon of light for women at large.

The TNFJ chief said that the Holy Prophet had said: Khadija, you helped me from your wealth at a time when all people deprived me of it. Imam Fakhruddin Razi in his Tafseer says that Allah made the Rasool (SAAW) Ghani with the wealth of Khadija (S.A.). He says that one day, the Holy Prophet (SAAW) came to Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) depressed. When Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) asked the reason of this depression, the Holy Prophet (SAAW) said: It is time of famine, if I spend your wealth I feel ashamed and if not then fear from Allah. On this Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) requested to send for Ahle Quresh. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique who was amongst them states: “Khadija (S.A.) piled up Deenars to the extent that the people sitting in front of me were hid behind the piled up gold and Khadija (S.A.) said, you all remain witness that my wealth is Rasool’s (SAAW) wealth, he may spend it at his will”. On this Allah Said: “We made you rich when We found you are poor”.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the Holy Prophet (SAAW) felt so much grieved at her death that he termed that year as Aam Al-Huzn (the year of mourning). He said the condition of her pious grave in Jannatul Moallah is a question mark for the whole Islamic World. He said today’s women could protect the religion and Shariat by following the Seerat-e-Khadija and they may continue offering the sacrifice of their wealth and offspring in every part of the world including Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan following in her foot-steps.

Meanwhile, Universal Youm Al-Huzn Committee of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has been formed. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami has been nominated as Convener, Prof. Ghulam Abbas Haideri as Deputy Convener, and Dr. S. Zaman as Secretary, of this Committee.
