Pakistan govt. bans 25 terror outfits

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistani government has banned 25 organisations across the country, Geo News reported on Wednesday. The Ministry of Interior has issued a new list of the banned organisations.

The new list was presented before the National Assembly in writing.

The list includes the names of Al-Qaeda, Sipah-e-Muhammed, Tehreek-e-Jafaria(first chief Molana Arif al-hussaini and now working under leadership of Molana Sajid Naqvi), Sipah-e-Sahaba (Molana Azam Tariq), Jamat-ud-Dawa, Al-Akhtar Trust, Al-Rasheed Trust, Tehreek-e-Islami, Jaish-e-Muhammad, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Islamic Students Movement, Khair-un-Nisa International Trust, Tehreek-e-Islam Pakistan, Tehreek Nifaz-e-Shariat Muahammadi, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Lashkar-e-Islam, Balochistan Liberation Army, Jamiat-e-Ansar, Jamiatul Furqan, Hizbut Tehreer, Khiddam-e-Islam and Millat-e-Islamia Pakistan. Sunni Tehreek has been placed in the watch list.
