Aza-i-Hussain (AS) continues in Peshawar despite terror dangers

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Like other cities and towns of Pakistan, chain
of majalis-e-aza, processions and matamdaari is in continuation in
Peshawar (NWFP province) attended by thousands of Hussaini mourners in
spite of dangers of terrorism.
On 20th DEC, 2009, Muharram 2, a mourning procession was held. The
Jaloos came out from the residence of Haider Habeeb at 2.30pm and
ended at Imambargah Bibi Sahibah at Ghanj at sharp 4.30pm after
passing through its designated routes. Another procession came out
from Azakhanah Bava Fazal Hussain at 2 o clock noon and ended at
Imambargah Mustafa shah at sharp 4.30pm.
Members of TNFJ – the only representative organization of Shiites
in Pakistan headed by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali
Shah Moosavi -, MO and MSO (the subsidiary wings of TNFJ) performed
their duties with Mukhtar Force.
