Afghanistan: Tens of thousands pay homage to Imam Hussein

KABUL, Afghanistan: Husseini commemoration is being observed in
Afghanistan also with the sighting of Muharram crescent.
On Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, Afghanis took out a mourning
procession in Kabul to pay homage to the great sacrifices of Hazret
Imam Hussein (AS) along with his 72 near and dear ones presented for
defense of Shariah and protection of human values.
