MANAMA, Bahrain: Like other nations Bahrainis keep on to remember
the supreme sacrifice of Al-Imam Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein (A) rendered
in 680 AD.
Huge majales and mawakeb al-azaiyah are held day and night at all
mosques, husseiniyaat and ma’atam.








Black cloth is pasted on walls to signify grief over the unjust
killing of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A), Prophet Mohammad (S)'s grandson.
Speakers highlight philosophy of Karbala tragedy as well as Husseini
qayam.






Tabrrok is served to all Husseini mourners.
Meanwhile, according to a circular issued by Prime Minister Prince
Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa ministries, government departments and
institutions will be closed on Saturday and Sunday marking Ashura.
