Tasu'a Day … Hoseini remembrance continues in Iran

TEHRAN, Iran: Muharram 9 is Tasu'a Day. According to Hazret-e-Imam
Jafar As-Sadiq (AS) Tasu'a is the day when army of Yazid (L) besieged
Hazret-e-Imam Hosein (AS) and His companions to fight against them.
In remembrance of the great sacrifices of Hazret-e-Imam Hosein (AS)
and his 72 near and dear ones mejalis and processions persist on
Tasu'a Day across Iran.
Mourners attend daily majalis held at maraje offices, thousands of
hoseiniyaat and mosques in all cities of the country as well as
shrines of Hazret Imam Ali Reza (AS) and Hazret Fatimeh Al-Masoumeh
bint-e-Imam Mousa Kazim (AS) and tombs of Imamzadgaan.
