KARACHI, Pakistan: A suicide bombing targeting Ashura procession in
Pakistan's largest city of Karachi left at least 43 people martyred
and wounded 60 more Monday.
Giving his reaction on the incident, Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha
Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi who also heads TNFJ – the only
representative body of Pakistani Shiite – he strongly condemned the
attack saying we can die but would not let Azadari of Syedush Shuhada
(AS) to die; terrorism has no power to stop path of Hussainiyat; we
are brought up in shadow of swords and will respond to every
oppression and barbarism with mazloomiyat.

Making an appeal to Azadaran to remain calm, he advised them to
prefer Azadari over everything.
The TNFJ chief made clear that doers of Jalao Gherao (miscreants) keep
no relationship with Azadari. Violence, oppression and disturbance are
contrary to Azadari. He further made clear that nobody would be
allowed to limit Azadari in pretext of terrorism. Have mosques been
locked after terrorism there?
Agha Moosavi asked that for whom pleasure interior minister giving
such statements? He resolved that Azadari programs will be kept
continue till Rabiul Awal 8 with full strength and spirit. Stopping or
limiting Azadari processions will be considered as disloyalty with the
religion, nation and the country.

He advised the powers that be to remove their flaws fulfilling
their responsibility of providing protection to the people. Neither we
accepted any restriction on azadari in past nor will do so in future.
Momin faqat Ahkaam-e-Ilahi ka hai paband a believer is bound to
fulfill divine orders alone.

He expressed his wonder that the banned outfits are part of
government peace committees and boards then how will peace be
established!!!??? On one hand they are restricted while on the other
they are begged for peace. What kind of this words and deeds
contradiction?? He affirmed that no one would be let to cause any harm
to "Gham-e-Hussain".
