Canada Arbaeen procession arrangements given final shape

ONTARIO, Canada: To pay homage to the supreme sacrifice
of Al-Imam al-Hussein b. Ali (AS) and his 72 faithful companions some
1,400 years ago in the hot plain of Karbala for defense of Shariah and
safety of high human values, an Arbaeen Al-Husseini procession will be
held in Ontario on Sunday 15th February.
In this regard, arrangements have been finalized.
The Procession which is held every year with the joint efforts of
Jaffrey Islamic Centre of Canada and Imam Husain foundation, will
start from Imam Hussein Foundation, 1485 Janette Ave. at 2.00pm and
walking via Shepherd Street, Ouellette Av., will conclude at Senator C
roll Park near City Hall Square.
On reaching the Square prominent religious leaders will give the
speeches in Arabic, Urdu and English.
