RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has strongly condemned the suicide attack in the D.G. Khan Imambargah on Thursday and life attempt on Tehrik Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Sarhad Vice-President Agha Abbas Ali Kiani on Friday terming these heinous activities continuation of terrorist activities in the country and an international conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan.

He has summoned a high level meeting of the TNFJ in Rawalpindi on Saturday to review the critical situation created by these incidents.

In a statement issued from the headquarters of the Markaz-e-Tashih, he expressed grave concern that terrorism has become the order of the day. He said on Thursday, dozens of mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S.) were martyred while many were injured and are in critical condition. He said earlier in Dera Ismail Khan TNFJ Regional Nazim-ul-Umoor Maqbool Hussain Jawwad was wounded in a terrorist attack while Syed Munawwar Hussain Shah and Garah Baloch Tank’s religious leader Khizar Baloch were martyred.

Agha Moosavi said that purpose of continuous incidents of terrorism is to divert the world attention from the Israeli oppression and brutality in Gaza and from the flight of espionage planes and missile attacks in Pakistan’s Tribal Areas in addition to put the blame of Mumbai attacks on Pakistan. He said the motherland was being punished for following Nazria-e-Asaasi Islam and being the only atomic power amongst 57 Islamic States and to exert their pressure they have chosen Ayyam-e-Aza to fulfill their nefarious designs so as to give these incidents of murder and arson Maktabi and Maslaki colour by shedding the blood of Muslim brethren.

He said every citizen of Pakistan and every follower of Islam strongly condemns this international conspiracy and naked acts of terrorism. He made it clear that we can neither be diverted from the right path nor could be bowed down by nefarious tactics like bomb blasts and suicide attacks. He further clarified that we can accept our murder but would not bear the murder of Islam and Pakistan, come what may.

He said our bodies could be cut into pieces but we would never allow anyone to create differences between Sunni-Shia and recognized schools of thought. International colonial powers and their Hindu and Zionist agents were behind the inhuman act of playing holi with the blood of innocent human beings, therefore, the rulers should openly declare upon the world that the terrorism being faced by us today is the continuation of a well thought out heinous conspiracy of the international colonial powers.

The TNFJ chief said that provincial governments of the Punjab and Sindh did not set up Muharram Control Rooms for the first time and if set up then the TNFJ was not apprised of the same despite inviting their attention repeatedly.

He said the recent incidents of terrorism are the result of inactive attitude of Sarhad and Punjab governments and their inability to distinguish between the friends and foes. Committing jalao-gherao in the garb of incidents of terrorism is aimed at sabotaging Azadari in the pious days because Azadari is our jugular vein and an eternal protest against oppression and brutality.

He called upon the government to ensure law and order forthwith and tackle the banned groups working with new names with an iron hand while the government circles and media should not entertain them.

He said statements of the banned groups’ leaders on incidents of terrorism are crocodile tears and the government should take notice of the same. He said our gentlemanliness should not be considered as our weakness; we give priority to Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen and coherence amongst the different religions over all other matters.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi appealed all patriotic forces to remain peaceful as it is time to exercise wisdom instead of rage. We have to thwart oppressors and terrorists by following the path of Hussainiyyat and Mazloomiyyat as we always did, he concluded.
