Madagascar witnesses Housseni mourning

MAHAJANGA, Madagascar: On tenth Moharram – Ashoura – a mourning
Housseni procession was taken out at 9:30 am in Mahajanga attended by
large number of mourners.
The City of Mahajanga is the capital of the Boeny region and of the
Mahajanga Province. Mahajanga is a seaport, the most important one in
Madagascar after Toamasina.
The procession that began from housseniyah Wali-ol Asr (A) was
addressed by Sheikh Mo’min in the local language. In his speech,
Sheikh highlighted the objective of Housseni Qayam.
A majlis al-aza and azao latam were also held in the procession which
concluded at Madressah An-Nour with recitation of Ziyarah Al-Ashoura.
