ZARIA, Nigeria: Hundreds of thousands of Ahl-al Bayt (a.s) followers gathered in Nigeria’s

Zaria city on Tuesday 10th Muharram to participate in the Ashurah mourning procession that concluded with speech from Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic movement.

The procession was organized in two main roads of the city due to the huge number of the mourners. Placard and pictures related to the Gaza massacre and salutations to the Imam Hussein
(A.S.) were also displayed during the procession.

The procession ended after three hours marching by men and women of all ages.

During his speech, Sheikh Zakzaky concentrated on the history and Ummayyad’s objectives and the lessons of Ashurah day as well as the current massacre of the Palestinians in Gaza by the Zionist.
